It’s a disappointing feeling you’re enjoying the suspense of a murder mystery and then suddenly the person sitting next to you tells you who “did it” – they read a SPOILER last week on the internet. Prematurely discovering what is going to happen has spoilt your enjoyment of the film, so that there seems little point in watching it now.
