EARWORM

We all know that feeling of hearing a tune on the radio and then being bothered by it for the rest of the day. Now we’ve finally got a name for “this song which keeps going round and round in my head” This is the EARWORM, invading our consciousness for several hours until it finally gets removed, often by another EARWORM.  

“The company shifted its focus from background music to foreground; the music suddenly wanted to be noticed, to implant “EARWORMS” – musical phrases you can’t get out of your head – into the disc changer of your brain”.

Todos nós conhecemos aquela sensação de ouvir uma música no rádio e ficar com ela na cabeça o resto do dia. Finalmente nós encontramos um nome para essa música que cisma em ficar o tempo todo na nossa cabeça. O nome é BICHINHO DE OUVIDO, que invade a nossa consciência por diversas horas durante o dia até que consegue ser removido, geralmente por outro BICHINHO DE OUVIDO.  

  

“A companhia mudou o seu foco de “música de fundo” para “música de frente”; de repente, a música quer ser notada através da implantação de “bichinhos de ouvido” – frases musicais que você não consegue tirar da cabeça – no toca-discos do seu cérebro”.
