IRRITAINMENT

We all know those TV programmes which we can’t quite resist tuning into each week, even if we know they are annoying. What about last night’s reality TV show? It was rubbish, but we were all talking about it at lunch today. These compulsive programmes are irritating but somehow they entertain us – that’s IRRITAINMENT.

Todos nós conhecemos esses programas de TV que nós não conseguimos deixar de assistir toda semana mesmo sabendo que eles são muito chatos, como por exemplo o “reality show” da noite passada. Foi uma porcaria, mas as pessoas estavam falando sobre ele hoje na hora do almoço. Estes programas compulsivos são irritantes, mas de alguma forma eles não deixam se ser um entretenimento (entertainment). Isto é “irritainment”.
