LOL
Many
people read this expression at the end of internet text messages and conversations
online. The great majority that is familiar with the internet terms and abbreviations
know its meaning but some beginners may be asking themselves – “What the heck is
this?”. To those beginners we explain that LOL stands for “Laughing Out Loud”, and
is frequently used in text messages or pictures when you think something is
funny. Just remember that this is only used in written English. You shouldn’t
use LOL in speaking communication.
“This is so
cute! My cat just stole the dog’s bed and now the dog’s looking at me like he’s
saying – “do something!”. LOL!”
“My
daughter came all the way home to get her backpack, then had a snack and left
without it! LOL!”
“Bob spent almost
an hour looking for an address and was dumbfounded when he realized he was
standing in front of the house he was looking for! LOL!”

expressão em mensagens de texto pela internet e conversas online. A grande
maioria que está habituada com termos e abreviações pela internet conhece o seu
