There are some interesting occurrences in the English language that is worth to know:

Existem alguns fatos interesantes na língua inglesa que vale a pena saber:

1.  "BOOKKEEPER" is the only English word that has three consecutive double letters.
      A palavra "BOOKKEEPER" (contabilista) é a única na língua inglesa que tem três letras duplas consecutivas.

2.  The word "STRENGHTS" is the longest word with just one vowel.
      A palavra "STRENGHTS" (forças) é a mais longa palavra contendo apenas uma vogal. 

3.  "SKIING" is the only word with double "i."
      "SKIING" (esquiando) é a única palavra com duplo "i". 

    

4.  "RHYTHMS" is the longest English word without any vowels.
      "RHYTHMS" (ritmos) é a palavra mais longa em inglês sem qualquer vogal.

5.  None of the words from one to nine hundred and ninety nine have an "a" in them.
     Nenhuma palavra da numeração de um a novecentos e noventa e nove contém a letra "a" em inglês.  

    

6.  "POLISH" is the only word in the English language that when capitalized is changed from a noun or a verb to a nationality.
    "POLISH" (polimento ou polir) é á única palavra da língua inglesa que quando iniciada com letra maiúscula muda de um substantivo (polimento) ou um verbo (polir) para uma nacionalidade  (polonês ou polonesa).

7.  The dot over the letter "i" is called a tittle.
      O pingo colocado sobre a letra "i" é chamado de "TITTLE" em inglês.
